Basic font formatting to checklist/sub-task/task titles
Muazam Rafique
the text for task title, sub-task title, checklist items.
It would be a nice feature if these could be modified, even if just basic formatting (bold/italic/colour).

It is ridiculous that when I send an email from ClickUp to clients, I can't hyperlink, bullet, or bold the copy, it looks super sloppy and unprofessional and makes me question whether or not ClickUp is worth it.

How has this still not been implemented.

I would like to be able to format the "task title" area. Just simply formatting like, Bold, underline, italic and colors. This would help in many ways.

Hello, great idea, it is very useful to see parts of the title sticking out of the text, not restricting this feature to the basics, but I think that even offering bold and italic formatting in titles would be very useful.

Hey ClickUp team, I agree with others here on this request request board. Being able to format task titles (also sub tasks and checklist items) with bold, color and links would be extremely helpful. Right now when I put a link in the task title, it's the whole link and it looks messy and awful. These things would really help with focusing the work. Thank you.

This thread should be combined with this one, and probably some others as well. That brings it to well over 100 requests. https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/task-titles-in-bold-or-larger-font

I agree. I think the ability to add basic formatting like font type, size, bold, italic, color and justification should be standard. It would really assist in the process of customizing lists and tables to look exactly the way you want them.

hoping we can edit the font size on the task title, sometime it's just to big to see the subtasks or check lists below. could only see 1 or 2 subtasks and that's annoying !
Thanks!

I would also love to be able to use backticks for inline code blocks when writing out a subtask title or checklist
