Avoid using the same Custom ID for all lists in space

I find Custom ID's very useful, though its functionality is highly limited when the same spread across all lists in the same space.
We should have the ability to assign or create Custom ID's to specific lists like we do with custom fields, since one Custom ID in has nothing to do with another and could damage the fundamental function of that initial ID.
This shouldn't be space limited, as this would be incredibly expensive for such a simple requirement.

At a minimum, we should be able to setup custom IDs at the folder level. We are just starting to use ClickUp for working with our clients. We setup a folder for each client, but I cannot setup a custom id that would allow me to easily identify the client. I am forced to create a generic prefix for all clients.
