Please add support for this. It already seems possible to close the parent if all subtasks are closed so it would be great to extend the functionality to other conditions as well.

We definitely need this and it's been quite sometime that we've been waiting for it! Can it pretty please be added soon?

crazy this is not possible yet. Seems like an easy add when you can do it one way already.

We need this automation in the same way that it's easily done in Jira.

Yes, this would be very helpful! I'd like to see when I update the subtask to be completed, and the parent task's customized column to be checked off. That's the reason why we have the customized column for the quick reference!

Need this!

This would be very valuable for my workflow. The links between parent tasks and subtasks are not very intuitive

It's really annoying that this isn't possible. We use ClickUp to monitor requests to existing webpages around our business. When someone adds a subtask, it means we need to make a change. I'd like the parent task to move to 'New' whenever a subtask is added.

This is a much needed feature. Please add on the roadmap
