Trigger an automation if a task gets a comment. Or improve the slack integartion such that conversation can occur on a clickup task posted in slack and the comments and conversation will sync into clickup. I'm trying to get my team away from Slack converations on detailed tasks and into ClickUp, but the chat process just doesn't come close to the ease of slack and the overhead is to much for my team to adopt. So I'd like to drive them to clickup as frequently and as easily as possible.

Zach - ClickUp: If comment (and not just task) data could be sent via the webhook, that would very useful to allow us to build slack notifications integrations (as a workaround for badly needed slack functionality like this https://clickup.canny.io/integrations/p/slack-direct-replies).
Or, lilkewise, if the API would have replies and not just parent comments, then we could use that to create better slack notifications.
Functional notifications is the biggest challenge to CU usage, as many of our team don't need to use CU constantly, but we need them to be able to see and respond to comments that are assigned to them quickly on the platform (Slack) that they do use constantly.

Hey folks! To be clear, we will be releasing the MVP of this feature request soon.
I'm aware of the following additional asks that we'll be getting as well:
- select user(s) whose comments will trigger the automation
- Email received
- ability to only run for assigned comments or threaded comments

Zach - ClickUp: Please take into account when giving us this feature the fact that comments in threads currently do not show as the latest comment. I use the column to show the latest comment, but when the latest comment is in a thread, it does not show. I just want to make sure that this is addressed when this feature is developed.

I mentioned this on another request so apologies for duplicating. If we could control two things we would be in heaven:
- Folder or List in ClickUp = Channel in Slack. WHY: this is the beauty of both. We don't work from a giant list of tasks. We work on projects that have discreet channels in Slack and Lists in ClickUp.
- Ability to only send comments to Slack if someone is tagged. WHY: We want people leaving comments and tracking their work. We are using ClickUp specifically to get away from constantly pinging people when things are ready. Every role and user has customized dashboards showing them what work is ready for them when THEY are ready.
Sending messages to Slack only makes sense when someone is tagged and it must be in the right channel.
The reason I posted this here is that we could do this if we had an automation or access to comments from the API. This is how we do it in the other tool using Zapier in between.

Yes Zach - ClickUp - That would meet my needs. I could trigger a webhook to create a slack notification that could drive people with a link to clickup to respond. The idea is soething similar to how commenting on Github Issues works with slack/github integration. Thanks for looking into it!
