Automation to Set Task Due Date Based on Custom Date Field (e.g., "Launch Date")

In our workflow, we use a custom date field called Launch Date, which represents when a project goes live — not when the project is due. However, once the Launch Date is set, we typically know how many days are needed to complete the remaining post-launch work.
We’d like to request an automation that can do the following:
When the Launch Date is filled/updated,
Automatically set the Due Date of the task to x number of days after the Launch Date.
This would save us from having to manually calculate and assign due dates and would help ensure consistency across our project timelines.
Use Case Example:
Launch Date = April 1
Automation rule = +10 days
Task Due Date is automatically set to April 11
It would be great if the number of days could be defined in the automation settings.

Agreed! All we need is to be able to use an automation to set date a number of days before/after another date (custom or not!). It's ALMOST possible. All that needs to be added is the # of days before/after.

I would also really appreciate this being added; however, we would like to have an automation create a subtask and set the due date to be [custom date field] minus 3 days. So if it could do plus or minus the needed number of days that would be so helpful! Thanks!

Kathleen Heitzinger, RN This seems like it is so essential - would be a huge help to our organization.
