Perfect world workflow scenario:
Business is tracking a client in their Client CRM solution.
A form with unique identifying information [e.g., name, email, invoice number, etc.] is submitted by the client.
When that form is submitted, an automation triggers to search a location [e.g., CRM List] for the unique identifiers.
If there is a match, the form information is added to the CRM Task Details AND changes details [e.g., status, due date, etc.] AND adds a relationship link.
If there isn't a match, the task is added to the list to be reviewed manually.
