I would like ClickUp to support automatic parent task progress based on the completion status of its subtasks.
For example, if a parent task contains 10 subtasks:
If 5 out of 10 subtasks are completed, the parent task should automatically show 50% or a status for progress.
As more subtasks are completed, the parent task progress should update automatically.
When all 10 subtasks are completed, the parent task should automatically be marked as completed.
The main goal is to make the parent task reflect the real progress of the work without requiring users to manually update its status.
Ideally, this behavior could be enabled as an optional setting or automation rule, since some workflows may not require parent tasks to be automatically completed.
This would significantly improve project tracking, especially for workflows where parent tasks are used as deliverables, phases, or work packages and subtasks represent the actual execution steps.
