automation with date change in years and not in days only

I renew annually and the automation when creating a new task only allows you to enter it in days, which can create different dates. A policy that expires 07/04/26 will expire 07/04/27 and if it uses 365 days, it can change to 06/04/27 or even more in a leap year.

Day-based offsets for date automation actions don't handle leap years cleanly, which matters a lot for compliance-sensitive workflows like insurance renewals. "Add 1 year" or "add 1 month" as native interval options would fix this reliably in a way that day counting can't. This is on our radar to improve as part of expanding date math in automation actions.
