Auto schedule tasks in gantt view

When creating gantt view surely need an option that autoschedules the dates as you either add a duration (please add a duration!) or by linking tasks together they should auto schedule based on dates. this is standard behaviour on any planning tool (llook at primavera / MSP / teamgantt). this has been quoted as a reason not to use teamgannt by the team hoever trivial it might sound. surely a really easy and quick fix

Great to have duration in tasks, but auto scheduling still isnt there... Again - the intent is that by adding 5 tasks in 'auto schedule' mode they would automatically create dependencies to the next task. then by changing the dates or durations of the tasks it would push the plan out to the correct date. Alternatively by selecting a number of already scheduled tasks the feature would link them automatically together via dependencies Bugra Oktay

I guess Duration is a step in the right direction - but when creating dependencies like the finish start dependency in the attachment 'auto scheduling' should move task 3 to start after task 2. Auto schedule should be default and if i want to move the bars to reschedule after that then fine, but at the moment its not auto scheduling.
I have another post suggesting we need more dependency types - Start - start and Finish start are musts.
