Apply Automations at the Workspace/Everything level
Cameron Finkle
I'd love to be able to apply automations on a global level (across the whole workspace). The way our company uses ClickUp means that we want each space to have the same "features", are organized the same, and are utilized the same. This means whenever I create a custom automation for one space, I then have to manually add it to all of our other spaces. We have quite a few spaces, so it takes a while. Having the ability to apply automations to a whole workspace would save a lot of time :).

As we grow, the need for this functionality only increases!

This is essential! Would love if this could be a feature!!!
Specifically we have automations to set tags on tasks based on a user's department/role.
It would save so much time if I only had to set this up once on a master level rather than duplicate it across every space and create new automations everytime we have a new starter!

Zach it's been 4 years!!!! Every year we have to spend loads of time just to share automations across 30+ different spaces... The top thing ai agent or Clickup has to solve.
Zach
Hey Avery, I appreciate you hanging in there. We definitely haven't forgotten about this request; our bandwidth has just been tied up with other projects. I will update this post when this becomes prioritized though!

Oh boy, initial request was over 4 years ago... Is this on the roadmap? We have 30+ spaces so having to duplicate automations is such a time suck.
Kristina
This would be critical - we have a ton of folders as a workaround and can't use different spaces otherwise the automations need to be duplicated. With 70+ automations this is non-negotiable for us!

That would preserve my Project Managers mental health when we need to replicate an automation across our 30+ and growing spaces.

This is a great suggestion. I believe it could be enhanced by introducing automations at Task Type level as well:
*Workspace Level: For general automations that apply to all tasks.
*Task Type Level: For specific automations that only apply to a particular type of task.
This approach would align perfectly with the new "Custom Fields by Task Type" feature. We could have a centralized "Automations Manager"—similar to the one for Custom Fields—to manage both the general and task-specific rules. This would provide much more granular control over our workflows.

Ditto on this! We are an agency and have about 10 automations that apply to all teams, but each team works in their own space. When there is any change to our client base or who manages it, we have to update this in 10 places, and there's a ton of room for error to miss one and have it firing correctly in one space and not another. Would really love to see this feature implemented!

I have 12 spaces. When I create an automation, I have to do it 12 times. arggg.
