Allow viewing task as a side window, while browsing other tasks, not as a pop-up

We recently migrated to Click Up from Asana, where you can view a task on the side, while browsing other tasks, not as an almost full-screen pop-up window. Opening the task I click on as a side panel would be very helpful since the default view in the pop-up window is quite contra productive – it slows down our work and calls.

I use clickup task manager in calendar view and I am trying to change the status of a task by right clicking the task and then changing the status there, but instead I can only do this through opening the task up, then changing the status and then closing it down manually. Why can't this be done via a right click opening up the menu. There are loads of options there, but not this

Yes I agree! Please add the ability to open tasks, docs, and other assets in new tabs or windows within the ClickUp Mac app. This would make multitasking and referencing multiple items much easier, similar to how browser tabs work. Currently, opening multiple windows is possible, but native tab support or an “Open in new tab” option would greatly improve workflow efficiency.

Yes, I would like this too. Clickup does not handle multi element processes well. (Whiteboard + Docs, Tasks + Tasks, etc)

yes please, also please allow us to minimize task to tray when using sidebar view. for some reason you can only minimize to tray when task is in full screen view. makes no sense.

We often need to have two ClickUp windows open when working. For example a SOP/Workflow for a task and the actual task itself. It woud be brilliant to be able to have the two side by sie, with one 'floating' so that it can be moved if need be

Would be great to be able to change the position of the search pop up, or to change its size. That would make the search capability much more productive. You would be able to search a task, open it up on the side, check if it´s the task that you are looking for, and if not keep searching in the pop up!
