Allow the cover image or uploaded image to show as thumbnail in lists also.

A hugely popular way to organize content and tasks is to have an image that represents it.
Currently one can upload a cover image but that cant be made visible in the list or card view, only when you open the item itself. So there is no way to see a list of thumbnails.
This would be very useful for product listings, contact lists, etc.
Since Cickup aims to be something beyond a tasks list, the most popular content mangement feature being a thumbnail in lists views should be made possible.
I think the best solution is not to use the cover image feature currently available but create a new custom field 'image' which will make the thumbnails available in the list custom field column.

Yes! We just requested a custom field for Image - we use Clickup for PM for our interior design projects and are building a template for FFE selections/procurement. This would be MAJORLY helpful!

Yes we need this! It would go a long way in helping ClickUp be more organized! Most people heavily depend on visual queues. To make a software more intuitive you absolutely need things like covers to help sent the visual hierarchy in the UI.

Crafted this up! OMG Yes please!

For now I use the image field but it can't achieve this since the thumbnail is so small = invisible. Having blank space around content is intended to make things cleaner in some ways, but in this case being an image it makes more sense to give it as much place as possible...
I would suggest :
- Add the Cover-image feature (best in front of the list title) as present on the board view. This would answer this exact topic.
- increase the image size in image columns (reduce margins) and make them expandable depending on the column width (with a max value to avoid loading big thumbnails.

Thibault de Changy: I believe they're talking about a cover for the main list, not list view columns...

No more desires for this? Need the ability to show the thumbnails in list view so that you do not have to open each tasks to view the images.
