Allow showing/hiding columns on a per-list basis

Right now I'm forced to create a new project if I need to see less/more columns in List view for specific lists (even though the lists pertain to the same project)
It would be very useful to allow us to change what columns are visible/hidden on a per list-basis (instead of per project-basis like it is now), to not be forced to create a new project just to show less columns, for example.

We really need this functionality in everything view...I am seeing a ton of columns I have collapsed which is visually annoying

Yes, please! Much needed feature.
In one projects we typically have different lists, each for a specific criteria of tasks. For instance, in a single project, we may have simple tasks that just need to be marked as "done" or "not done", but on another list within the same project, we may need progress bars to show percentage of completion (for lengthy tasks).
In this case, it makes no sense to show a progress bar for a task that is "Call this person".
And thanks for the great work!

Definitely needed. But also it would be great to show/hide columns in a certain favorite-view, independent of what is shown in the included lists/spaces.
For example a favorite-view that shows ALL spaces will show a very long line of columns if you have a lot of different fields in each space. It would be great to be able to hide some columns here that are not needed in this bigger overview, just to keep things clear. Hiding columns here should not affect the columns that are shown when looking at individual spaces/lists.
