Allow setting of ad-hoc non-working days and/or public holidays

Like other sheets, it would be good to the ability to either (1) float in the list of public holidays of a country, or (2) allow manual input of non-working days; And then highlight these days on the Gantt Chart or other views, so that in terms of scheduling, these days are not calculated in terms of billings or other matters.
It will also be using for, say in the future when you are putting in a 'Days/Hours Left' column on Gantt, then this value won't include non-working days.
Thank you.

I just rolled out a complex 9-week project template I had just finished. I couldn't understand why none of my dates aligned properly. It's because there was an (optional) stat holiday in the middle of the project. So all of my tasks were pushed forward a day - even for tasks in lists that start and end after the holiday that aren't affected by that optional holiday. I see a link here saying that I should "Vote on this feature."
I'm sorry, this isn't a feature - this is a flaw.
We shouldn't have to vote on fixing flaws. I should be able to choose whether or not I want to adjust based on a single holiday like that.
So then I go to change my parent task due dates and I'm fully expecting all my dates to remap back 1 day after that holiday to put the rest of my project on track... Nope.
I then learn that you can remap dates forward, but not backwards. So now I just spent two hours going through every due date in my entire project, resetting all of them. I'm beyond frustrated.
In a few cases, I was able to move parent tasks forward to the following week and those remapped, but guess what? That setting I checked to skip weekends didn't work. Now I have tasks ending on Saturdays and Sundays.
Even worse, these are monthly recurring projects that run 9-weeks long. There's pretty much a stat holiday every month. So I now I need to account for 2 extra hours to reset due dates on a template for every client every month moving forward. Stupid.
We migrated here from Teamwork. One thing I appreciated with TW was I could create a template with an EMPTY due date, and then set all of my subtasks as +/- days and NOT have to plot them on a calendar. Then when I rolled out my TW template, I just picked my Due Date and BAM, all the dates plotted correctly. If I changed my Due Date after the fact, it kept the +/- days structure and remapped everything for me. For that holiday? I adjusted the two tasks that were impacted. Took me 10 minutes. The fact that you have to setup a template in Teamwork based on a calendar day is stupid.
Please stop adding more features to your software and fix the vital issues. Template rollouts that don't mess with scheduled dates and allow for remapping in BOTH directions are vital.
Ughhhh... templates suck so bad in ClickUp. Such a headache.

I can see the non working days set up is now available. It should be great if it can be set up by country, team or user as nowadays, the groups are more globally

Would really help to be able to incorporate public holidays and weekends into the timeline view so that when start/due dates are set they account for these and shift the due date to account for these. Yes please and when could we expect this to happen?

Update: I see ClickUp foresees to add holidays on the Gantt chart.

Was just searching for this feature. Indicating days where workers are not available. So that on your Gantt chart, Calendar when planning or rescheduling you see those days and take them into account. The ultimate feature in this area would be that when creating a task that falls on one of the unavailable days, you would get a warning message. And why not propose different rescheduling options: The system proposes to extend the end/due date or to advance the start date or do nothing. An out-of-the-box on-size-fits-all solution doesn't seem easy to implement. We have to take into account dependencies with preceding or following tasks/activities.
This is a must-have priority, quite basic project & task scheduling feature.
I would prefer see development on this rather than all the AI suggestion features.

It's kind of insane that we can't do this. The dependencies ClickUp allows you to more or less by skipping weekends, but it's also barely usable

yeah that is definitely must have

yes please

Yes, we need this feature for project planning!

Would really like this feature, and we need to consider holidays in 3 countries. We can also create our own custom holiday schedule and update it annually. Thanks!
