When having a full template list of many tasks. It is efficient to use the search bar to search for a task. In doing so, the search does not recognise the names of sub-tasks.

This is so important! I don’t know how it isn’t a feature already!

I'm not quite following which search interface you are describing (we have a lot!). Can you post a screenshot of where you are trying to search for sub-tasks?

Ivan Kanevski: Within a list in click-up using the task list view. The keyword search in the top left of the view does not detect keywords for sub-tasks. ONLY the main parent task / Milestone. This is the problem we are having when using a list with up to 60 sub-tasks x many lists at a time.

Justin Cesman: Thanks.
The list search doesn't use the same search as the Command Center (which does support this feature).
Thanks for the extra details. I am hoping to have List search be able to take advantage of features that our global search has.

Ivan Kanevski: thank you for the response. Would you happen to have a time estimation for this?
Ivan Kanevski
Justin Cesman: No, not yet. We are still digging in to see what's possible -- list view is core part of product, so it's not a simple incision. We are planning to start prototyping things, but the aim is not to solve this specific problem, but to experiment with a new architecture (side-effect is that if it's successful, solving this is much easier).
No promises yet!
