Allow moving attachments from on task to another (especially a subtask)

It would be great to have a feature that you can move attachments from one task to another, especially a sub task. This allows us to better organize documents that belong a subtask to clear the "clutter" in the parent task.

SO many times yes to this! This is a standard feature in Wrike, and I really miss it in ClickUp.

Weirdly low number of votes. Is there another, more-voted-on request for this? Well - other than the one I linked to before?

Need the attachment to move from task to docs. Especially when the ask is closed/completed.

Yes, I just had attachments uploaded to the wrong task. Now I need to download, delete and reupload. It would be great if I could just move them to another task.

I would like to link attachments from a (sub)task to another, when they need the same asset. Like that I don't need to upload the asset again and also using more space.

I'm definitely into this. Here's the use-case example that is most clarified for that - i'm designing storyboards for comics/film. If I upload a bunch of images that can be commented on by my team, it would be awesome to be able to
choose
how those images play out, vs. having to upload them in a certain sequential order. So, moving the attachments around in the task view would be epic.Along these lines, let's say I created a Doc inside a task and then added a bunch of images. One would have to scroll down, past the images, to get to the Doc but if one could actively move things around, they could put the Doc at the top. The same goes for any kind of layout where you want to lead the user through some kind of flow-through. To elaborate on this - As a designer and filmmaker my sense of the visual & thematic flow of ideas is paramount. Having the ability to move the order of attachments in a task would be similar to arranging a certain sequence of images in a Doc or arranging a sequence of images in a marketing campaign, in a ClickUp Whiteboard, or anything else that involved a certain degree of visual storytelling, all of which affects & defines the receipt of the progression in the user.

Can we merge this request into https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/allow-moving-attachments-from-on-task-to-another-especially-a-subtask Brendan W?

Hey, Michael! Jumping in for Brendan and merging!
RAWLS
1000% THIS!! A simple "drag & drop" function allowing you to move an attachment to subtask is absolutely necessary!
