Allow list views/settings to be inherited

Add a setting in the list/view options which allows the settings of a list to be copied and automatically updated from a list in another view.
e.g. A list view of a folder, which is inside a space, could be set to copy, or "inherit", any settings from the list view of the everything tab.

We desperately need this! This was posted 6 years ago. It would be awesome to see some progress here.

I use quarterly sprint folders and it is infuriating that I cannot set the same columns as visible across all of the lists inside one folder. Even an option to do this (not having it auto-sync) would be fine!

Yes often my filtered views are the same across multiple spaces/folders/lists etc. It would be good to build a default filtered view that could simply be used on any list.

For the love of God, I do I need to set columns for all new or editing lists? Can I apply the same set of columns (view) to all my lists?

Especially with the new Dashboard as a view option (which is amazing BTW). I have a number of lists where I need to essentially spin up the same view for each list (account plans for my strategic accounts) and I am literally (for current ones) going to have to either a) rebuild the dashboards manually or b) put the new dashboard into my list template and them migrate all account plans to a new list created off the new template. Not ideal TBH.
Also, as we continue to modify out list views / dashboard views... I will need to apply new versions to these view and will absolutely need something like "list view as a template" to be able to quickly deploy new views across multiple spaces, folders, lists, etc.
Thanks for the help with this one. Important one.

How is this not yet a thing?

This would be a really helpful feature and would save users a lot of time rather than having to update columns for every single list under a folder.

This request seems like it's been live for over 4 years now. Is there an update on it?

Please do!! I just imported 247 lists (Projects) and have to set up the columns on every one individually. This seems like a no brainer. Thanks!
You can add the columns in the "List" view in the folder level but it doesn't stay with the lists inside the folder.

New here, but yes, please please please. I have several lists within a folder. When I change the list view at the folder level to show/hide fields, I expect every list within the folder will show/hide the same fields. Nope. I have to go into every list's list view and manually show/hide. Omg. What a time suck.
