Allow Full Visibility of All Labels in Task View (Remove or Toggle the 3-Label Limit)
James Fox
Recent changes to the Labels (Checklist) Custom Field have introduced a hard cap of three visible options in task view. Any additional labels beyond this are now truncated and require the user to click into the field to view them.
This has severely impacted our ability to quickly assess project progress at a glance, which was one of the core strengths of ClickUp. We regularly use label-based checklists with more than three entries to track task progress across complex workflows. This truncation undermines the Labels field's visibility, flexibility, and utility.
We understand this was deemed an "intended change," but it is a significant regression in usability. Our team has to open every task and then click into the Labels field, which results in hundreds of additional clicks per week.

Please add a toggle or setting that allows users or Workspace Admins to:
"Show All Labels in Task View" Overrides the 3-label truncation limit.
This would let teams choose between a cleaner, minimal display and full visibility based on their workflow needs.
