Allow for multiple tabs to be open, to have lists, tasks, spaces open at the same time so one can easily toggle through

Multiple Tabs or Windows
Jamie Meyer
In addition to other suggestions to have the ability to havre multiple Tabs or Windows open, which would be a execellent feature to the desktop app. This would be benefivcial if it were extended to LIst vViews and Documents. Potentially something further to consider would be split screen so that one could work in a Task or Task List while working on a document. I tend to use my tray for next in schedule Tasks, it becomes cumbersome to use the Tray for bother these reasons.

Multiple Tabs like in Chrome

I know that this has been requested a few times before, and there have been improvements. Related completed action for this:
Go to the 'File' Tab and Select 'New Window' (Ctrl + N)
-> Opening a new window would result in a completely separate window being opened, and not just a new tab within the existing window.
It would be more efficient to use this project management tool if it allowed opening multiple tabs in a single window.
Hope this can be part of the Clickup Roadmap. Thanks!

Is there any update on this?

yes, please! i find it really important to have tabs for different important elements, especially whiteboards and tasks separately!

This needs to be done! I hate floating windows all over the place. Even Finder uses tabs. This is a must for window organisation and huge let down for the desktop app.

Darrah Paslovsky This is a great idea for the app. In a web browser we can easily do this by opening another tab. We should have the same ability to do so in the app otherwise it becomes challenging to use the app.

I second this. I'm aware that we can have multiple windows open, but it gets really annoying when you now have several actual applications running that you need to tab between. Surely running multiple instances of Electron open can't be great for system resource use either.
Give us the ability to open multiple tabs in the clickup desktop app, mimicking browser behaviour.
