Allow filtering of notifications by status, location, due date, priority, etc.
Lauren Gray
I know there's a notifications v3 request that's "planned," but maybe the effort to payoff ratio on this would be more favorable for a quicker turnaround? I'd like to be able to apply the same filters to notifications that I can to tasks, in order to make clearing the inbox easier.
Examples:
- status
- due date
- priority
- assignee
What this would allow me to do:
- Scan through notifications on tasks that are now marked as "closed" and likely don't need any further action.
- Bring notifications on high priority or due soon tasks to my attention easily
- Filter out notifications from bot-like accounts or prioritize notifications from team members in specific departments

Ability to filter or Group notifications by specific List/Space, allowing users to focus on updates and comments relevant to their List which is more important.

The ability to filter or Group notifications by specific Lists or Spaces would empower users to focus exclusively on updates, comments, and changes that are relevant to their priority areas. By narrowing the scope of notifications to a chosen List or Space, users can eliminate distractions from unrelated tasks and projects, ensuring they stay aligned with their most critical work. This feature would streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and allow for better organization, enabling users to quickly address key updates without being overwhelmed by irrelevant information.

Filter notifications per Space
Jan Feckiw
In my everyday work I very often base on the notification system which helps me to stay updated on things that happen on multiple projects. There are days that I need to focus on some particular project and I would like to have listed notifications for that project only. Right now I have to scroll down the notification page and load as many notifications as possible then use webbrowser build-in "find" feature and use the project name as the key to find project-related notifications that are first in priority for me.
This feature to list notifications per project would be useful for people who work on multiple projects at once and each project has a different priority.
Please excuse me if similar feature has been requested I didn't find anything related.

Group Notifications by Spaces, Folders, and Lists

I receive over 100 notifications per day, and working through them is very challenging. This is echoed by other users in my company who manage multiple workstreams. Hence, we need to understand what the notifications are by folder/space and prioritize our efforts accordingly. Currently, everything is organized by date.

Have a notification filter by space

It is possible to have multiple spaces within a single workspace. This can be used to split the workspace into a single (or multiple) spaces per team. This leads to a small issue: I am receiving notifications for a space I do not have any interests in. The notifications are based on the workspace level. Since I am receiving a lot notifications from multiple spaces, I have to comb through my notifications to view only notifications from the space(s) I am in.
Is it possible to have a categorized view in the notification interface so that notification appears per space? Additionally: a better setting is that I can configure if I want to receive notifications from space A or not.
PS: no separate category for notifications? Took "Dashboard" but I doubt that it is an appropriate one.

please separate notifications by space

I have multiple spaces with different clients, and as of now all my notifications get lumped together on the same screen. I'd love the option to separate them if I only want to view one space at a time. Then I can see which client currently has notifications I need to review.

Filter notifications by task type.
Rafa
Because I deal with a very high volume of notifications, sometimes I want to focus only on a type of task of less relevance for that moment and get rid of them. Today I can't do that, because I don't have a filter by type of task.

Intelligent Notification Filter Setting

It would be great if there was an opt-in setting that would allow for notifications based on learning-based context in addition to more explicit @me notifications. For example, I was a contributor to a large project with many groups participating. I certainly want to receive notifications for actions tagged to me, don't want to be notified of actions involving distant tasks on the project involving another group, but I'd like a feature that enables 'smart notifications' e.g. even though I wasn't explicitly tagged, a task or activity that is likely to involve me for input or approval.

Since 4.0, we have broadened the application's use cases. Now many departments use it. BUT NOW MY INBOX IS TOTAL CRAP..
This is making me changing tool. I need to be aware of every task created only in some spaces. I spend a lot of time just clearing out the notifications. I am considering switching tools or downgrading the number of licenses and moving some teams to a different tool
I would consider this urgent if I were a PM at ClickUp. Why? Because this is consistent, recurrent frustration.
I would say this feature is a must if you really want to follow through on your ambition to be one app that handles many parts of business processes. I bought into the whole thing, but now the integration is actually breaking my workflow, not enhancing it.
