Allow Agents to update Artifacts

I have used artifacts to create visual aides based on data in my lists/projects. I would like to be able to have my agent automatically kickoff a refresh of those artifacts on a cadence. Today Agents cannot edit artifacts.

Hey, everyone!
We are happy to share that Super Agents and Brain can now update your Artifacts directly!
Give it a shot and let us know what you think

Michael Van Doorn - I was trying to create an agent who will update an artifact and I received this:
Short answer: not yet, at least not in the way you described.
What’s possible vs. what isn’t
Agents cannot currently update or refresh ClickUp dashboards programmatically.
don’t have an Agent-accessible “update/refresh” tool today.
Agents also can’t directly “use” an AI Skill (like 868mar097) as a tool.
- Skills and Agents are separate features; the Agent tool set doesn’t include invoking a skill the way a human does in the UI.
So: we can schedule agents and we can give them very tight scopes, but we cannot have an agent actually run that dashboard skill or refresh those two dashboards on Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 8:30 AM.
A practical alternative
If your main goal is to get a fresh view of the same information those dashboards represent, we can create an agent that, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:30 AM (ET):
Pulls recent activity / project updates for the lists feeding those dashboards (for example, analytics or store-lifecycle lists).
Generates a concise report ("dashboard-style" summary: KPIs, new work, risks, changes).
Posts that report to a channel or as a DM to you.
You’d still manually view or refresh the dashboards themselves, but you’d have an automated written report on the same cadence.
Would you like me to instead set up an agent that generates and sends a M/W/F 8:30 AM summary report based on the work behind those dashboards (and, if so, where should it post—DM to you or a specific channel)?

Yes! This would be extremely useful!
