I plan at quite a high level. Most events are all day and span across days.

It would be nice when in time view at the week or day level to be able to expand the 'All day' portion of the view and drop the hourly view for visualisation purposes. The hours are irrelevant at a high planning level but steal screen real estate unnecessarily.
