Yes please. Something like what they do in https://www.usemotion.com/project-manager
Time is the most valuable resource and we spend so much time organizing our schedule and deciding where to fit certain task in our calendar. It would be nice for AI to do that for us.
Check out this video. It's really a game changer.

Hi Jack. Amazing new feature, AI brings so much more efficiency managing tasks!
The new feature looks pretty promising! I am not from the IT area, so my thoughts go as a regular user, would the AI feature support creation of a whole task planning. For example, if I'd write that I'm flying on vacation with my wife and a 2 year old son, going to the beach by plane with 10kg luggage each. I'll be away for 7 days and I've a dog I need someone to mind; and with all of that, I'd be looking the AI agent to help me built a checklist of tasks and subtasks I've to address before my trip.
Would the new feature be capable of working out my ask?
Thanks again for bringing the updates to users!

Hey everyone!
I'd love your feedback on a new feature we've been cooking up: AI Agents.
It's currently in beta and available on Chat (gradually rolling out). The next iteration will introduce Agents on Lists, and much more.
Here is a demo Clip from our Product Manager of AI: https://share.clickup-stg.com/clip/s/t333/d95651b0-e763-4ad7-8a57-ddfe6cac51e6/screen-recording-2025-02-03-10%3A39.webm
I'd love to talk through it on a 15 min video call if you're up for it: https://calendly.com/jdowd-clickup/15-minute-meeting

Jack Dowd I like where this is headed. ANy idea if there will be a way to use AI to create an email schedule based on the emails I need to send and the parameters of when and who they can be sent to?
Amy Wine
Jack Dowd Thank you for this! I'm so excited for this feature and I can't wait to have it in my workspace!!!! I think I might have more feedback when I start to use it!
Jack Dowd
Kari Stober: That is something that we are looking into in terms of having Agents trigger on a schedule and allowing them to manage an inbox.
Question: What feature data would you want the agent/AI to look at to decide who to send it to, when to send it, and what to include in it?

Kari Stober
Jack Dowd it's a bit complex, but I'll try. The email calendar I manage has about 10 lists that we send to on a regular basis. Ideally what we're looking for it to tell AI to schedule the email to the appropriate lists and schedule the send times on the calendar. So it would need to know all of our lists, and it would need to schedule around other emails. We would tell it which are the primary lists and which are the secondary. Does that make sense? I'm happy to chat with you via video if that makes it easier to understand.

Oh my gosh, YESSS PLEASE!! I have spent countless hours and so much frustration on trying to find something that will do this properly AND integrate well with ClickUp.
I'm at my wit's end and would LOVE IT if ClickUp implemented a native AI calendar/scheduling/task management solution!! I would be more than happy to pay extra for something which:
-automatically plans my daily to-do list into blocks of "focus time" on my calendar, based on the ClickUp tasks' settings for due date, importance, etc
-smart booking links which have detailed, high-level settings management to ensure meeting times offered are appropriate across multiple calendars, including accounting for the focus times (above) and buffer/travel times (below)
-buffer times around meetings, focus blocks, etc with granular controls
-travel time on both sides of meetings with physical addresses outside of the office, including allowing for travel between external meetings - also with granular controls
-ideally would also include option to create recurring "habits" or "solo events" for things like a lunch break, movement reminders, etc.
I've trialled pretty much everything on the market in this space - but none of them can do that full list properly. It seems ridiculous that no one has been able to manage it yet, considering where we are with AI technologies already! ClickUp, please come to the rescue!

Automate project scheduling based on time estimates and availability

USER PROBLEM
Scheduling projects takes a lot of time and attention! And ensuring planned tasks don't conflict with your schedule is even more tedious - especially as time goes on!
USER OUTCOME
Imagine being able to automate project scheduling based on time estimates and schedule availability. Where the solution for scheduling complicated project plans is mostly automated by ClickUp.
USER SOLUTION
The user creates a project plan and either:
- Assigns a start date to the first task and a due date to the last task, or
- Assigns their tasks to milestones that have a start and due date for those contained tasks.
Then let ClickUp automate the process for populating the start and due dates of all tasks in between, depending on the number of working hours available in the day, and the time estimates assigned to each task.
This would be a very easy way to block schedule an entire project instantly!
ENHANCEMENT #1
Would be great to also have it do this individually to groupings, ie Group by Custom Field and then be able to auto-plan the project between the two start and due dates.
ENHANCEMENT #2
Have ClickUp reference the active users' assigned workload in their preferred calendar (ClickUp, or even Google Calendar if possible, making this as beneficial as possible) to figure out the best dates and times to schedule tasks that don't conflict with other scheduled engagements.
I currently use Reclaim AI to automate the automatic processing of block scheduling my ClickUp tasks, and it's AMAZING, but this could easily be something ClickUp could and should take on.
I seriously recommend you integrate this with your ClickUp if you want your ClickUp tasks to automatically schedule into your Google Calendar:
Reclaim also lets you:
- Give a scheduling link to people to allow them to book a time in your calendar with different time increments.
- Auto-schedule 1-on-1's between team teammates based on available times in their calendars.
- Schedule and prioritize recurring habits.
- Lock tasks and habits in place and determine how flexible you are in having them be overwritten with more pressing tasks.
- If a task is scheduled to be done, Reclaim reschedules any possible tasks and utilizes any free time to make sure that task gets done!

Integrate Google calendar and Click-up and use AI to schedule day with both tasks from Click-up and google calendar items. Similar to Motion. I currently use both.

It would be helpful to have AI integrated to organize my calendar with all of my tasks and have timers and alarms as well as link to time tracker like Use Motion - it's difficult to manage all the tasks and times and it would help with focus and effectiveness in managing busy schedule, meetings, flow/deep work, travel, etc
