AI agent/automation to convert AI notetaker notes into actionable tasks

It would be great to be able to create an automation that is triggered by new meeting notes created, that completes an AI powered task, such as automatically create tasks that came out of the meeting, or create a summary email to send to meeting attendees. In general, having other trigger options outside of tasks and subtasks would be awesome and open up even more possibilities for ClickUp AI and automation.

The AI Notetaker would be much more useful if there was an option for the AI to automatically create tasks from the action items in the meeting doc. There are currently no trigger options related to docs (such as the creation of a new AI Notetaker meeting doc) that can be used to prompt it to create tasks from the meeting's action items. This was why my team originally started paying for the AI Notetaker and the AI package, but we will likely drop from that plan due to it not being possible.

Hi! So we are using the new AI Notetaker feature and it is generating those summaries and action items, but we have to manually generate tasks from the doc. It would be great if we could automate those meeting note docs into tasks. Would eliminate manual work for sure!

AI Notetaker is well integrated into many parts, except as a simple trigger for automations. Our current use case would be along the lines of: When new AI Notetaker note doc is created/saved, then <do stuff ... such as parse it, send follow-ups, etc..>

With ClickUp Notetaker creating new documents for every meeting and super agents being able to actually process those meeting notes and route them to folders, lists, create tasks, all that stuff, it would be awesome to have the two automatically interact.
Right now I can't build an automation to have, when a meeting doc is created, to trigger a super agent to review those notes and create the task automatically in the associated lists for that client. I have to manually go through and add the meeting note taker super agent to every single document. The fact that super agents can't read meeting note takers automatically is also a challenge that should be eliminated.

Good workflow idea - automatically sharing AI Notetaker docs with your assistant when they're created. That would require a "Doc created" trigger, which we don't have yet.
Doc triggers are something we've heard requests for, and your use case (auto-sharing with specific people) makes sense. I'll note this for when we look at doc automation improvements.

Jared Threw we will soon release a toggle to choose a format for meeting notes. That way you will be able to receive notes as a task in your personal list and run automations
