Address book
Paul Templeton
it would be REALLY useful to have an address book function, or a link to google/apple contacts, for the email within in a task. It is a bit of a pain having to find the email addresses elsewhere and then copy & paste

Email Address Book

Hi there,
I have a feature request, please see below.
We have been using the email section in the ClickUp desktop app which is great! It's an awesome way for the whole team to keep track of communication with customers and suppliers.
One feature that would be extremely handy is a customer/supplier contact list or address book. This way we could store our customers/suppliers email and phone numbers.
The reason I am requesting this is because sometimes ClickUp will auto-fill email addresses and other times it does not and if it doesn't I then have to go back to my email browser and search for their email address then copy and paste it into ClickUp, seeing as I'm now already in my email browser it is easier for me to just send an email from there instead of ClickUp. It would be good to have a smooth flow in ClickUp so I do not need to open up my email browser.
I would like to add some email address's into ClickUps memory so that it will always be there when I email our suppliers.
Thanks,
Matty Evans

This enhancement is needed to be able to make Clickup integration effective.

I agree, this would be very useful. It is a nuisance to have to copy and paste email address from my Outlook when ClickUp then turns around and send emails via my Outlook. Adding the Address Book would be much more convenient.

Hi Click-Up Team,
I’d like to suggest a few improvements to the email functionality within Click-Up, particularly regarding the address book.
Currently, the address book is limited to 100 email addresses, which is quite restrictive for teams that manage communication with a large number of clients. It would be incredibly helpful if this limit could be increased to accommodate all client contacts.
Additionally, it would be great to have more visibility and control over the stored email addresses—such as a way to view, manage, and select from the list. This would allow us to easily remove addresses that are no longer needed, especially when clients are offboarded.
Copying and pasting addresses into the “To” field is not a sustainable workaround, especially when managing multiple recipients.
Lastly, I’d love to see a feature that allows for automated follow-up emails. This would significantly improve workflow efficiency and ensure timely communication without manual tracking.
Thanks for considering these enhancements. I believe they would make a big difference for teams using ClickUp for client communication.

I couldn't agree more. Almost everything we track has a relationship to our client list (in Clickup) and email addresses are stored there, but even the primary contact email doesn't populate when emailing from the related task. An address book (synched with google and/or apple) would save a lot of duplication, but even just saving an email after we've input it once would be a win!

Copying a list of addresses into the "To:" field is not a workaround either, because the field seems to ignore CR/LF and even semicolon separators, so the end-user is physically forced to copy/paste one at a time.
The possible workaround is broken too see the feedback here: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/copy-paste-split-and-trim-email-addresses

I'm loving the option to connect e-mail threads to tasks, so I can find my info without leaving clickup. But the fact that its not possible to control what contacts forces me to manually enter the e-mail and really ruins the experience.

"One app to replace them all". Love the idea. Going to be hard to do without an integrated address book.

Yeah - very important point!
