From Ticket: At the moment, it is currently possible to set start/ due dates through Automations. However, you cannot add the start or due times. For Example, you cannot add 8pm through the Automation.

✨ Surprise ✨
You can now specify
time
when using date features from within Automations. When creating or updating tasks with Automations, you’ll see a new option to choose the exact date and time—giving you more control and flexibility over your workflows.
Thank you for your over the years! We hope this helps you save
time

Zach can this be done via the api too? I keep seeing new tasks with a date / time value hours ahead when creating a task via api. All are on same timezone.

Zach Hi Zach, this doesn't give the ability to change time, only the ability to set a date/time to the Trigger Date & Time. Since there's now the ability to change the time, is it possible to include the ability to manually set the time?
Use case: When selecting custom fields like AM, PM of Full Day, we want the automation to set the Start Date Time and Due Date Time to values like as 9am, 1pm, 6pm so that the google calendar sync doesn't break and show wrong dates (as it now take blank time as 0000hrs, hence showing the wrong date)

Our team works a mix of locally and internationally so that there is someone online all day. Some tasks need to be due within 12 or 18 hours and cross multiple teams. We need to be able to set an automation like so...
WHEN new item created THEN set start date time to now AND set due date/time in 12 hours

Looking forward to this PLEASE

We're looking for an automation so that if I change one due date in a list to 4 days later, it pushes every other following due date consecutive in the list out 4 days as well.

Need this! I have an automation that sets a task’s due date 14 days in the future, and when that date arrives an automated email is sent. That email is currently sending at the default time of 4am, and I need to change that within the automation so it reads more organically.

I've been looking for this automation. Right now, all scheduled tasks appear as all-day events, which blocks off my calendar because my calendar scheduler thinks my day is booked. This would be very helpful, especially since ClickUp already syncs with Google Calendar, and would sidestep having to get another app for time-blocking or switching windows and apps to manage calendar and schedule.
