At present, ClickUp provides no option to sort attachments within tasks or spaces. As a result, managing large volumes of uploaded files—such as images, PDFs, and videos—becomes unnecessarily time-consuming.

Requested Feature:

Please introduce the ability to sort attachments by:

Date (Newest → Oldest / Oldest → Newest)

File Type (e.g., PDF, JPG, PNG, MKV, DOCX, etc.)

Optionally, grouping attachments by file type would further improve usability.

Rationale:

This feature has been requested multiple times by users under various separate posts (requests to sort by size, type, name, or date). If these are combined, it’s clear that many users are asking for a more functional attachment management system. Despite repeated requests, there is still no roadmap inclusion or update.

For teams that handle design files, media assets, or documentation-heavy projects, this small enhancement would dramatically improve productivity and file management.
