You can already map to Task Type when using the Spreadsheet Importer. We will be adding a column "Task Type" to the Workspace export as well. Please stay tuned.

For reporting, we would like the ability to see task type as a column when exporting to CSV/Excel.

Why don't we have more votes on this - I feel like this is a similar request that's been made regarding the task type. We should consolidate so we can have more votes on this. I want to track and get reports based on this data point.

It would be great to generate a report using task type as the identifier. It doesn't make sense to be able to label the items by task type as embedded feature and then told to create a custom field to sort and collect data where task type is the main factor.
