Add emoji reactions and GIF support to Chat

ClickUp Chat currently lacks emoji reactions and GIF support, which makes communication less efficient and less engaging for teams.
Reactions help reduce unnecessary messages (e.g., “got it”, “thanks”), and GIFs support team culture and informal communication. These are standard features in tools like Slack and Discord.
Adding both would significantly improve usability and adoption of ClickUp Chat.

Hi Duline Theogene! If you have the GIPHY ClickApp enabled for your Workspace, you can use /giphy to send and use GIFs!
Additionally, you can already react to messages in Chat with emojis. Can you expand on what functionality you feel is missing?

What I meant on reactions is more like the quick reaction UI (for example, the ❤️ icon shown next to “7 hours ago” on this post).
Being able to react to messages, by hovering over a message, in that same lightweight way — both on desktop and mobile — without needing extra clicks or opening a menu.
Right now it feels a bit less intuitive compared to that type of inline reaction experience.
