Add Docs to Dashboard (Docs Widget, NOT "Text Block")
Paul Carleton
At the moment there is a "Text Block" widget for Dashboards.
Please make a widget for us to add new and existing docs to dashboards for viewing.
Thanks!

I really just want to embed a Doc page, with the option to turn on/off the page navigation sidebar. I.e., you can choose to either embed a single page, or a whole Doc with the sidebar.
Both of these should mean all the extra ClickUp buttons/location headers, etc, should not show.
Also, importantly, if you embed a Doc with multiple pages, you should be able to choose the default page that shows, so it goes back to the default page if you navigate to a different page and reload.

For my self it is easy if you have a whiteboard and a document next to each other like you can do on a dashboard with widgets. Meaby it is an idea that you can put a whiteboard and a document in the dashboard and that you can work with 2 things next to eachother (whiteboard and documents)

I'd like to be able to select a few specific documents (the Clickup Docs) to be on my Dashboard.
Second, I'd like a widget to display my Documents List.

ClickUp Doc card for Overviews and Dashboards
Guy Mannerings
Can we get Doc cards for Overviews and Dashboards?
Right now, you have to embed using a URL. But, depending on the location of the Doc, you end up with all the breadcrumbs, and you always get superfluous buttons around it.
If we had a proper ClickUp Doc card, it could exclude everything but the actual page/full doc you link to.
Ideally, optionally, it would display or not display the list of pages on the left.

Docs as a widget

The notes features is great but I'm trying to get the team more organized with docs, and it would be helpful if I could have a doc as an editable widget in my dashboards.

Yes, this would be so nice! Using the Embed sucks because you cant resize it and yes, you have to share private data publicly to make the embed even work. If they make "synchronized text blocks" anytime soon that would help and maybe that's the hold off on this 🤷♂️

dashboard doc embedding

We want to create dashboards with documents embedded as a context to the data. However to display a document from clickup, I must first share it publicly to embed it with the public link. It would be very helpful, if the document could be embedded directly without sharing it publicly.

Embed ClickUp docs in Dashboard
Kyla Roma
I use ClickUp docs to plan my week, while seeing my upcoming commitments. Right now I can't embed a ClickUp document into my dashboard, I can only use a text widget or a google doc. I'm using a text widget, but it's not flexible and means that I always have to go back into my dashboard view to update or make changes - which isn't practical for switching between desktop and mobile versions of the app like I do.

As a user I want to embedd some clickup documents in a dashboard. E.g. I have a document with a table that I want to embedd.

Absolutely agree! Apparently you can copy the embed code from the doc and use it in a dashboard but that means you can’t edit :/ very annoying. I’m not sure if you can maybe edit from the original doc, not being able to edit at all would be very annoying
