The official ClickUp MCP Server doesn't expose any tools for managing checklists and checklist items within tasks.
Adding these tools would be really helpful:
  • create_checklist / edit_checklist / delete_checklist
  • create_checklist_item / edit_checklist_item / delete_checklist_item
Use case: AI agents like Claude can create tasks and comments via MCP, but cannot manage checklists. This blocks automated task breakdown from meeting notes, AI-generated QA checklists, and resolving items via chat commands.
