It would be extremely helpful if we could set the date formatting in some columns to appear other than dd/mm/yy

For example:

dd-mmm-yy (e.g. 22-Jul-26, so we can see the month more quickly at a glance)

AND

ddd, dd-mmm-yy (eg. Fri, 10-Jul-26, so we can see the day of the week the date references.)

When scanning due dates, etc., it helps to have a quick reference for which day of the week that is.

While I appreciate that we can add that in the task name, if the date changes, we have to remember to update the task name too.

This kind of formatting is possible in Excel sheets, so it's something I think many users have come to expect.
