Ability to specify specific dates for the sprints
in progress
Hakan Köse
It's great to have a sprint feature in place with the newest release!
And it's also good to start creating sprints with a specified index such as "9" for instance.
However, when it comes to specify sprint dates, you have to stick with cycles you define in the settings such "2 weeks" or "4 weeks".
Of course it makes sense to have dates specified like that. I think ClickUp should always offer that cycles, however real life is not perfect and strict like that, even the calendar itself is not perfect considering some months have 5 weeks instead of 4 weeks. If you consider bank holidays too, sometimes it's not possible to stick to cycles. In exceptions like that, we should be able to specify specific dates for sprint timeline rather than cycles.
So, in addition to cycles offered by ClickUp for sprint timelines, there should be also an option where we can specify the dates, for instance, to extend that particular sprint to 5 weeks while you're working with "4 weeks" cycles

This would be the best thing if it happens.

This is a real problem that needs to be solved. I'm trying to promote Clickup as our go to app, but this is a hurdle.

One other related issue I'm having is that I can't change the start day (i.e. Monday) once it's saved. However, I can see a workaround using dates if the release allows us to have gaps/overlap in our sprint dates. Is this going to be possible in the upcoming release?

Ability to edit the Sprint duration
Ian Easton
Is it possible to implement a functionality that allows Sprint durations to be edited? Sprint durations are extremely limited at the moment - our agency business requires differing sprint durations, from a few hours to weeks, to cater for our various workflows.
For tasks, start and due dates can be set to the hour, so the functionality is hopefully there to allow Sprints the same.
Many thanks!

Allow Moon Cycles for Sprint start/end
Łukasz Zygmunt
This may be a little unusual but we're following natural rhythm of moon cycles for our sprints. The problem is they are not set so they are not always 2 weeks long. I would love to be able to set sprint dates manually, better yet to have an option in Sprint folder settings for Sprint duration as "Follow moon cycles" where planning is on the day of the New/Full moon and the end of the sprint is a day before. So we close all up to be ready for planning on the new/full moon. By the way - it works great ;)
Ivan Villa
Hey Łukasz Zygmunt! While we won't be releasing moon cycles anytime soon, we are working on manual sprints so you will be able to edit the dates of your sprints to whatever you need!
Łukasz Zygmunt
Ivan Villa: Fantastic. Thank you.
Mo
Ivan Villa: This is great, thank you! When do you expect this feature to be released?

Mo:
hopefully soon! Team is working through the reporting part, but we have a lot of the flexibility being tested internally.
We are excited to get this one out since we know its a big need for teams using sprints :)
