For instance, when working on different grants you would need to keep track of how long you are working on each grant or project, each of which paying into payroll for that amount of time worked. Sometimes you are working on more than one in running order and would need to quickly (perhaps one-click) switch between them so you are not wasting time between. (Other examples: for billing time)
