This allows a task to be created without prior notice to the guest and tasks can be assigned directly without waiting for the guest to accept the invitation.

Agree! It often happens that guests don't fully adopt a PM platform, yet an admin/manager needs to track who is supposed to be doing what. It is sometimes quite important to record that an individual is responsible for a task (particularly if it's blocking another task), whether or not that individual agrees to create a password and get their head into using ClickUp
