Chacra: I can't believe this has been an on-going issue for 3 years now. You'd think they would've fixed it by now.

Michael Grammenos: Actually if you export from the "List" View, it does include Custom Fields. You need to select "All Columns" under "What to Export". The only drawback is selecting everything is slightly inconvenient if you have a lot of lists and tasks. But it works 👍

Do I understand correctly that there will never be an option to export the custom fields in the free plan, as you can only export the list view 5 times?

i cant export custom fields, because my Monthly plan is over, and now i must pay 9$ just to have ability to export my data? Its a sh*t

We heavily rely on custom fields. There should be an ability to export custom fields. Also export should be supported at project level.

Wyntre Stout: by default it only exports visible fields, but if you select "all columns" it should grab them all for you. let me know if this works if not then I recommend reaching out to our support so they can look into what could be going on :)

However, I did find the dialogue box in the workspaces and folders. But even when I selected "all columns," the exported file did not contain any data from my custom fields

Wow I just realized that the OP is almost a year old and feature is "planned" since 11 months. How sad. Are you one of those companies that has a great product but is absolutely terrible at doing business?
Just imagining how many customers you must have missed out on because of this in that time hurts. I'm just a consultant not an IT developer but it feels to me like adding at least custom fields with currencies in them (which is what a LOT of people would already be 90% satisfied with) to the export could be done by one person in a day or even in minutes.
This is pretty unacceptable. Even more so after I just paid $100. Feels like an intern could add currency fields (and all other fields that are just plain text or number values tbh) before he even earns $100.
And also feels like I'm using a free version where custom field export is a premium feature. But I'm on your BUSINESS plan. You know that BUSINESSES care about data but even more so care about MONEY right? How could you not allow for currency field exports in the first place?? Who makes a platform designed for sales tracking, bookkeeping, budgeting etc., then decides to offer exports, and THEN DECIDES not to include money values in the export?
And don't even get me started on your USELESS CHARTS which I upgraded for.
Please don't take offense. I'm a bit like Gordon Ramsey, I get angry when I see such terrible business decisions from companies that have a good product.. GET IT DONE! You're selling a product to business customers. You have lots of business customers saying they wish they could use your product but they can't. Right here in the comment section.
This is certainly not a big development project. So how can it take you more than a Month to implement such a VITAL feature? Maybe you need to learn to prioritize and split tasks if you want to persist in the marketplace. How ironic?! For a company that makes a project/task management software.
I REALLY hope you understand that this has to be fixed. Because I don't want to have to use a different platform. But with useless charts and reporting and no export, I am forced to.

jon kolono: Can you clarify exactly what you aren't able to export? This post is somewhat outdated as we are deprecating our legacy reporting, and now you should be able to export all your custom fields in List view. Are you not able to do that?

Absolute dealbreaker. Adding this should be one of your top priorities, as the app is actually really good but as you can see, people are forced to resort to other platforms because of this.
