Ability to Edit Targets in Goals
Kyle Huender
First off. Thank you so much for implementing the goals feature its great! The only suggestion I have is the ability to edit the Targets within goals once they are created.
Second. It would be nice to link another goal as a target in a higher goal, such as cascading OKR's (https://www.atiim.com/blog/cascade-okr-goals-throughout-company/).
A big thanks to the entire team for constantly updating Clickup.

Goals feature is useless without editing ...

This seems like a critically missing feature - the only way to edit a target (e.g. remove a task that is no longer relevant (or has been added by mistake!)) is to delete the whole target and re-add it again from scratch.
It's not too bad if the list of tasks making up the target is short, but if it is large, this is massive pain!

Also the ability to edit the increase and decrease notes on reaching those goals. The notes box doesn't pop up till after you enter the number so sometimes I miss notes and then looking back IDK why I increased or decreased the goal. Can't go back and edit them and the history is all messed up

^^^ this 1000%. For me it was a simple mistake - I entered the wrong number and was left unable to edit it to the correct number. So I had to add a decrease, which then makes the resulting list of achievements messy. I would love to have that new feature added.
I also second the big thanks to the dev team for all you do. ClickUp just keeps getting better and it's amazing. Thank you!

looks like this is never going to be picked up as this feature might be used very less. +1 never the less as its not fun to add tickets to new targets since we cannot edit the target type after creation.

Basic editing functionality is a precept of programming. Create, Read, Update, Delete. Seems like they launched this feature missing 'Update' functionality. Disaster.

Luke Starbuck: It was so they can add "Goal Tracking" in preparation for their IPO to be the "App that replaces them all" They haven't cared about functional features for a long time :/

How is this not a feature that's underway?! It seems nuts to not allow for editing the goals!

Any updates on this?
