Ability to disable "Drag and drop on other task to convert to subtask"
Daniel
I like sorting my tasks using drag and drop but sometimes I accidentally move task as subtask as other task. In the result task list is meesed up and it's a quite tedious to restore (there is no easy way to undo moving task to subtask).
So I want to disable function "Drag and drop a task to other task to make it as a subtask of that task"

Option to disable convert to subtask would work, but just improving what it looks like when you drag and drop would be better, IMO.

My team has the same problem, since this feature was added, tasks are frequently being accidentally turned into subtasks. I can see this feature being useful for some, but the ability to disable this when we don't need it, would be very helpful.

Fix drag and drop — please

I LOVE ClickUp but the drag-and-drop functionality constantly slips me up. It's not any single thing, but it's a a dozen or so little things—all of which add up to a system of lower performance than possible.
One Example:
When I drag a list ON TOP OF a folder, it should move that list INTO that folder — just like a file system would. Make the first entry in the hierarchy. What ClickUp does instead is confusing: It just ignores the drag and does not even provide a cancel notification. At the very least turn the mouse pointer into a circle/slash "NO" when I'm hovering over a folder. Better yet, fix it!
That's just one example.
I see you added /giphy. How about fixing something important.

Drag and drop is broken

Used to work pretty well, was actually what got me to switch to ClickUp. As of one of the last few updates you can no longer drag and drop to the first or last position in a list and the ability to drag a task into another task to make it a subtask of the task you drop it on is killing the fluidity of the experience. You should drag to a specific icon to subtask something, and all other drag and drop should be treated as non-subtasking.

Disable drag-and-drop subtasks
Nick
My team is having issues of accidentally dragging tasks and making them subtasks when they're just trying to re-arrange them, and then "losing" the task because it got converted to a subtask without them realizing.

Amen. Fix the core usability issues first. It isn't about how many updates are released every week, it's what they bring to the table.

My team has this exact same issue. I would love the option to disable this feature.
