Ability to Add Tasks With Sorting

It would be great if it were possible to add tasks at any point when viewing lists as filters. Currently, if I have a filter applied, and then sorted via due date, I have to clear the filters to add a task in a certain space. It would be great if there was a general "ADD" button that could be used on the fly to add tasks as well as possible dropdowns to assign them to projects/lists. Thanks!!

You can add tasks while you're sorting/ filtering!

Agreed. I primarily use Time view but when I do switch over to List view, I have it sorted by due date 99% of the time because that's what's relevant to me. However, when I want to add a task, I either have to unsort the lists, or right-click the appropriate list in the left pane and choose to add a new task to it. A new task button should be standard whether you're in a sorted list or not.
