Ability to add relationship when creating task via automation

It would be really helpful to be able to add a relationship between the task that triggered an automation, and the task that was created as a result of that automation. This would allow my team members to see the connection between our master tickets and the individual tasks that get created with automations as they move through our workflow without manually setting each relationship after the automation triggers.

I would like certain relationships to be created automatically.
Specifically i am talking about a CRM system i am implementing. When i create a new task that belongs to a specific client, i need to manually create this relationship. For small tasks i find myself often not creating this relationship. Only for bigger projects i find myself taking the time to create this relationship. Of course this means that the CRM system is not used to its full potential.
So it would be great if the relationship could somehow be created automatically, for example based on the task name that also contains the client name in a specific format, like:
things i need to do [for client name]

Zach Would be really great to do a poll / survey to know what users want exactly from this.
A lot of people (all the companies I manage (20+) as of writing use clickup as a CRM. Because clickup doesn't have a native contact and company feature to assign to tasks, we create a space called CRM that has contacts list and companies list and uses those to link customers to tasks for tracking. The biggest pain we run in to is having to use Zapier to link these company "Tasks" and contact "Tasks" to the actual working task for them.
Being able to link / relate another task to another task in automation via a matching custom field like a phone number or email would be PARAMOUNT and a HUGE game changer.
Getting this kind of feedback from the community will be very important as relationships have the potential to be very powerful if done through the feedback of the community.

Zach Amazing!! We've desperately needed this for a long time. I'd also like to nudge a request for having the option to add custom relationships in form just like a field, so form fillers can connect the task back to clients/etc in CRMs.

This feature would be really amazing, because today we have to add relationships manually after the automation creates the tasks.

Agreed. It's also critical for smaller companies trying to utilize ClickUp as a CRM as they claim is possible. It is but I can't have it be this manual.
I need to have a custom field across a space trigger relationships to the main account without having to add them manually.

Alternatively if we could output Task Link as a clickable link into description it would also help, but right now URL is output as string (unless there is a way to turn it into a link via markdown or such?)

This seems like a critical update considering there is a limit to the amount of tasks created under a Parent. We used to use the heirarchy of Intake>Epics>User Stories > Builds > Bugs, however that posed challenges as we could no longer create tasks (1,000 limit under parent). We were told to use relationships more.
However, with relationships not being able to automatically be created that's a huge area where we see a lot of disconnect. I have an automation that can create a subtask, tuck it under parent, etc etc, however if we're to use relationships instead, we need an automation that make that association. If not it's easy to miss and then there's a disconnect in the flow of information.
This is definitely a priority for us.
