This doubles the time to add new users - I need to add a user, have them accept, then come back and add them to groups... like 4x the time required for this task.

I would suggest we each email support each time we onboard a new user to ask if this has been implemented yet. This would give them an idea of how many nuisance situations they are creating in people's days and maybe just say, oh fuck that is one line of code to include pending users in that list of users someone can add to the team, maybe we just add/remove it and this noise will stop. Here they can ignore it, but support tickets are wasting their support team's time.

It is really frustrating when you see effort going into AI and other weird areas, but basic functionality that has been requested years ago is missing.

These things that are so basic are a couple of lines of code for a junior dev. Does clickup not have any internal organisation to assign these basic things to someone. The number of support tickets that in the time they have had chatting to me about having lots of requests they could have had someone patch the code. These types of requests are no brainers where there is no downside to making the change and has consistent behaviour.

Basically I want to invite a user, add them to their teams and then let them rip. Not have them enter into clickup and then say...."hi i'm here, but can't see anything you are talking about".

On this, just add a simple dropdown to the user where I can assign them to teams. To have to go and scroll through my teams and individually add someone if working in multiple teams does not make sense. Adding members to teams is for initial setup, but not for new onboarding.

Currently when you invite a user, you have to wait until they accept the invite to add them to a team. This means keeping a list and manually checking....until they accept and then you can finally add them to to a team. This is TEDIOUS. I want to be able to add pending members to teams when I invite them. Then I don't have to keep a list and check it twice (or 30 times).

I would love to see this feature! We create spaces for large teams with in our enterprise workspace and we are consistently having to check throughout the day if the users have registered so we can add them to their proper spaces. Pending users occupy a license anyway so we should be able to add them to spaces immediately .

Ditto for this. We have an onboarding checklist for new hires which includes adding them to ClickUp but because we can't add them to teams until they have logged in for the first time it means that part of the checklist lives stranded sometime after their first day.
