Notepad is your one-stop-shop for any top-of-mind idea, meeting notes, daily to-do lists, and more. This week, we've made an enhancement - now you can add any image or file to your Notepad via drag and drop or the /attach Slash Command! Got a screenshot you want to add to your notes? Add the screenshot before the preview even disappears from the bottom right of your screen. What about that new file you just downloaded? Simply drag it directly from your Finder or Folder in seconds.

This would be great for creating things like ClickUp tutorials where I need to take screenshots of multiple pages in ClickUp then take all those images and put them in a Doc

I would be great to see it evolve into a drag-and-drop shelf and easily drag text, images etc using the Chrome Extension (see: Raindrop.io or most of the iOS apps such as Ulysses, Notes, Gladys etc)

Would love this! as well as ability to add image from url rather than upload, applies to the doc editor too!

I’m glad this is planned. I tried several times to get an image into a note and had to ask support.

Zeb: This would be super useful and means i could stop using one note and google keep, would love to have clickup as my goto app for most things
Zeb
Kris Barrs: Agreed, I'm going to bump this up in priority. We'll get it done in the next month or two!

Zeb: Wow that's awesome, thanks for your quick reply and for offering it in the next few months. Your software is awesome!!! So much better than my previous one, I am currently using your import tool to bring in all my projects.

Zeb: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/convert-notepad-notes-to-a-document again, this would solve this. I think it's key to keep the notepad light for initial note taking, but then easily 'upgradable' to a doc for images, shares and task links etc. And then ideally can be easily linked/embedded in tasks as well.
