Brendan W: Hi Brendan, while you can now minimize desktop app, it would be awesome that when you close it, it can remain in background so the new task shortcut and notifications would always be active.
Right now, if for whatever reason, I close the app, the Global CTRL+E Shortcut stops working.
Sometimes I close clickup to declutter my desktop but I'll like to keep using the functions without the wait of opening again the desktop app.

Brendan W: I support. It would be desirable that at program closing it remained active, and the icon moved to the system tray.

Владислав Терещенко Lazaro Guajardo: I hear you! Keeping the app open and minimized is the solution to this for now, but I'll bring it up to our team!

I join other people with request about minimizing Windows Desktop client into system tray with X button instead of closing it.
