When people join clickup, they enter all manner of names: all in caps, all in lower case, first name only, no name, initials, their email.....as an organization, and as the owner of the entire workspace, i wish there was administrative ability to go through a tidy up all the names. It's not just appearance, but using the task assignment and commenting features of ClickUp requires that you can find someone by their name.

It's crazy that an admin can't do this. We have about 125 contractors, and we export the projects to upload into our accounting system, and if their name in ClickUp doesn't match our accounting system, then it creates a new record and is not tied to their bank account. When we set people up we have to tell them how to put their name in and email them and ask them to change it if they don't do it correctly or put in a middle initial, etc. It seems silly as an admin that I can't do that.

Yes please. The ability to assign initials to users, especially those with the same letter first & last names would be really useful.

we have a user that left the company so we want the person that took his place and doing the same job to get into the same user... so we would be glad to be able to change the user name.

I just had a guest misspell their own name. Our guest provided us with the correct spelling, and I as the admin used about 1–2 hours of my time along with the time my project manager had to deal with the guest's request to get the name updated in our system. I just found out that I'm unable to update it and had to write up the directions to provide to my project manager to send to the guest to update their name. Admins and owners should have the ability to update this information. This permission will prevent everyone's time from being wasted over something such as a misspelled name.

I would like there to be an option to send a collaboration invitation to someone on the ClickUp platform in a way that, upon clicking the invitation link, the person is added with a pre-defined username. The aim is to assign a specific first and last name to the user, without giving them the option to choose.

As a Workspace owner for an Enterprise instance, it would really be great to be able to manage our Employee names to establish a consistent corporate naming.

By doing so, we can further maintain a professional image.
