Since the last update I get mostly the wrong language.

Mainly speaking German and English.

This is resolved (no update required). Sorry for the inconvenience. The good news is that we made major updates to Talk to Text and it should be lightning fast now :)

Hi everyone, we're really sorry for the frustration this caused. We’ve just fixed the issue with Talk to Text defaulting to the wrong language, so it should now respect your selected output language again. We’ve also made a number of improvements since last week, so please give it another try and let us know how it works for you. 🙏

Dennis: Yes it should just work. No update required. Just make sure your output language is set correctly :)

Simon Choi Yes, it works really well now. Thank you for the quick solution. Very great. But what you can no longer adjust is the tonality. Is that intentional?

Dennis: The old writing style settings were not flexible enough and we were not convinced of the quality. With the new engine, the writing quality should be significantly higher. We will be publishing very flexible settings, including our own prompts, shortly.

Simon Choi ah ok, exciting. I'm curious... that I currently have a beta version loaded is normal. I don't have a choice whether beta or stable right?

Dennis: That's right. Since Brain MAX is still relatively new and we attach great importance to rapid product development, small errors can sometimes occur (such as incorrect voice output). As soon as the product meets our high quality standards in all respects, we will release a stable version.

The same with me. very annoying, especially for a paid service

Same! Really nerve-wrecking, I can't dictate in Chrome, it always defaults to English although I picked "German" as Output language (restart didn't help)
