Speech-to-text reliability

I love the speech-to-text feature of BrainGPT, but it's really unreliable and half the time it just fails. Are there solutions around this?

Hi Thibaut - sorry that you're having difficulties using Talk to Text. We had an issue yesterday where it was failing quite often but we have fixed the issue now. Are you still facing this issue regularly? If yes, then could you please share if you're using Mac or Windows app? And are you using any headphones to using the device microphone?

Ankit Mishra thanks for the reply. It's basically on and off. But I hardly have a week, or even a day, when STT is "just working™️". This is a long term observation, since the initial release. I regularly get frustrated, stop using it, get back to it a few weeks later and last less than 2 weeks due to regular issues.
I'm on the Mac App, no headphones but a number of microphones (screen, laptop, noise cancelling software, etc.). I've tried to force the laptop one but even then the issues persist. I hope this helps.
