Brain Max Won't Open
Cole Hunt
The first time I used Brain Max I was blown away. I loved it and couldn't wait to dive into the app more. Then I closed it. I couldn't get it to open again after closing it the first time. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and was able to open it once again. I was actually able to open it 3 different times this time. Then 24 hours later I had the same issue. I could not get the app to open. Any ideas why this may be happening on a Lenovo Thinkbook running Windows 11?

Version 0.87 doesn't start and when it does start, Talk to Text is very unreliable. Floating Window is no longer displayed.

If the problem that the app cannot be opened again, it would be very helpful if you could send us a short video of it. Thank you so much <3

Of course that is activated 🙂!

Dennis: Oh, you'll probably have to do the introduction to Talk to Text again (sorry, but it's quick). We do not save the status yet and only then does the floating window appear

Yes windows. Yes It's on the taskbar, but it doesn't start in the start screen at all. So I fixed the problem by downloading and reinstalling the old version 0.85 again. He then updated to the latest version. I've signed in again and now at least it's starting again.
However, this floating window, which was very helpful to see whether a recording is currently taking place or not, is no longer visible!

Dennis: Thanks for the update. Is “Floating Brain” activated in the settings (bottom left)?

Hey! Are you using Windows? If so, the app is still on the taskbar and can be reopened from there. We've already fixed the issue and are releasing a fix soon:)

Thanks for this report. MAX is likely still running in your task bar. You can reopen it from there but we have a fix already that will be deployed tomorrow.

Simon Choi Did this deploy?
I cannot open Max using an icon on the task tray in Windows - I have to keep going back to the "hidden icons" menu in Windows.
Also, I would really like to be able to open as many instances of Max as I can using the Taskbar icon.
They should open in the current virtual desktop instance I am on (so even if I have an instance of Max open in another virtual desktop, it opens in my current one).
This is something you CANNOT do on the ClickUp desktop app, and it's really frustrating.
I don't want to have to open the app and choose "new window" - it's very slow to do that. I just want to be able to open a new one from anywhere.
