Missing ClickUp Brain Features in the Mobile App
Mostafa Shabanpour
Currently, it is not possible to use ClickUp Brain in the same way on both the app and the web version. There are some features that are only available on the app and not on the web, including:
- You cannot press Enter to go to the next line in the app version.
- Attaching files is not possible in the app.
- You cannot use saved prompts in the app.
- Selecting the LLM model is not available in the app.
- Changing the source and using web search are not possible in the app.
It is very important for team members to be able to use the app for their daily work. ClickUp Brain is one of the tools we use a lot, and its absence in the app is really noticeable.

I would also be interested in whether it is planned to expand Brain's functions on the mobile app.

Agreed, also please release on Android. Too many Ai companies are going to Apple for the big contract. Many Android users are starting to use this tool

In addition to this - it would be worth updating the main clickup app to allow for a shortcut to Brain.

We need a Brain Max app.

I love brain max. I use to to plan my day, schedule tasks, assign tasks to others. It does everything, but it can only be used when sat at my desk. I need a mobile app so I can use it on the go as well.

As an iPad and iPhone only user, I would love to access the full power of ClickUp BrainMax (AI Max) directly within the mobile app, especially in the chat and task interfaces. Many users rely on iOS devices for productivity and would benefit from having advanced AI features—currently available on desktop/web—fully integrated into the mobile experience. Now with iPad OS 26 there is less reason to have to buy a desktop device.
CkickUp Crew, Thanks for the current AI access available on mobile. Please consider prioritizing the development and release of BrainMax for iOS/iPad, including seamless access through chat and task comments.

Since there is no client for Ubuntu, an Android app would at least be very important!
