Our team works with video and not having an audio transmission on SynCups calls is something that was sorely missed and made it impossible for us to migrate from platform to platform.

Cássio Pacheco hey! Can you pls elaborate on what does "not having an audio transmission" does actually mean? When you have a meeting there is no sound or am I not getting this right?
Cássio Pacheco
Alex Lashkov Of course! First of all, thank you for the response.
Regarding the audio issue in SyncUps, I’m referring specifically to the transmission of the computer’s system audio.
The microphone audio in the meeting works normally.
However, we are a production company and we work with video, so it’s essential for us that calls also transmit the computer’s desktop/system audio — not just the microphone.
In other words, we need not only the screen to be shared, but also the audio from anything played on the computer. For example, when sharing a video, the video’s audio must also be transmitted. Any audio coming from my computer during the transmission — videos, soundtracks, YouTube, etc. — needs to be shared as well.
Currently, SyncUps only transmits the screen and the microphone audio, but it does not send the system/desktop audio. This causes major issues for us and makes it unfeasible to use in our daily workflow or migrate our team to the platform, since we would need to rely on other tools that already support this feature.

Hey Cássio Pacheco! You should be able to share system audio in screen shares by toggling on "Also share system audio" in the Chrome screen picker - let us know if this works!
Cássio Pacheco
Reece Atkinson Thank you. I was using the installed app, and that feature is really only available when using it in the browser. It’s strange — is the browser version actually more complete than the native installed app? Which one do you recommend using, and why is there this difference?

Cássio Pacheco: It depends! This case specifically isn't about which version (browser vs. desktop) is more complete, but that sharing system audio is something built into screen sharing with browsers natively, while accessing/utilizing those permissions on your desktop OS can be more difficult.
