It would be helpful to allow users to customize channels by adding images or icons. This would improve quick identification, personalization, and navigation—especially for teams managing many channels. Similar to how emojis can be used in lists, visual cues for channels would create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.

It would be much easier just to take a look at the thumbnail and post a comment or chat. If you communicate with many groups or channels, it is sooo annoying not to switch the channel fast.

This would be super helpful for organization! We are migrating from WhatsApp to Chat channels, and we had team /segment icons for these that helped visualize them better.

Philipp Berner It would be nice to have, but it's not essential. However, the ability to upload images for channels, similar to WhatsApp, greatly helps in distinguishing chats, rather than just relying on emoticons.
